I am a gradute from Slippery Rock University. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) and Special Education (K-8). I graduated with a 3.69 GPA.
Experience
Since my degree is in Early Childhood Education and Special education, I have student taught in learning support for all grades K-6 and whole group 3rd grade. I have done my field work of over 500 hours in other grades. During these experiences I have created lessons and activities to reach all students needs and ability. I have tutored family and friends thorughout the last 5 years. One of my courses at the college, was going to Slippery Rock Elementary and tutoring two students after school for an hour in Math and Reading. I love to help children learn and reach their goals. I am in the process of finding a teaching job in the area but want to open my time for children that need a little more practice with the skills they're learning in school. I like to make learning fun through games and activities children can relate to. I like to spark their interests into what they're learning. Being that I just graduated I have encountered all the new common core standards. I incorporated these standards into my lessons and activities to reach each student's individual goals.
